The HYLA Board of Advisors helps maintain institutional knowledge and offers guidance to the HYLA Board of Directors and committee leadership so HYLA can best accomplish its mission to provide attorneys in their first 12 years of practice opportunities to Learn, Lead, Network, and Serve. The Advisory Board is made up of experienced and decorated lawyers from the legal community who have a proven record of local and national bar association leadership, as well as broad community impact, including from the bench.

The Advisory Board exists to:

1. Provide expert advice and insight on strategic initiatives, programs, and community engagement.
2. Serve as ambassadors for the organization, helping to raise awareness and build relationships in Houston and beyond.
3. Offer professional expertise in areas such as fundraising, communications, legal, finance, program development, and more.
4. Support HYLA leadership in identifying opportunities, navigating challenges, and expanding the organization’s impact.
