The Leadership Academy Committee organizes HYLA’s signature leadership program for young lawyers. The Committee coordinates the application and selection process for Leadership Fellows and organizing programming for the incoming cohort for the year designed to prepare young attorneys for leadership roles in HYLA and other organizations through a service-oriented leadership training model.  The Committee takes part in planning a comprehensive program for Leadership Fellows designed to help Fellows learn and grow leadership skills that they can apply in their firms and organizations as well as in other service-oriented organizations. The Committee also helps the Leadership Academy Class in organizing, planning, and marketing a capstone event that the Leadership Academy hosts at the end of the program which benefits a local nonprofit of the Fellows’ choice.
